Our Visited States Map

Our way has been a bit unorthodox, more like by the seat of our pants, a tightrope walker without a net, hence the referral of “Living Our Lives On A Wing & A Prayer” but we wouldn’t want it any other way. We became full-time RVers without an RV and have been doing that for almost two years, finding jobs that included housing, but NO MORE! We have our own “Home on Wheels” and we can now truly say we are full-time RVers.

Back in February of 2004, we sold it all except for a few necessities and have "Hit The Road". One of our goals as a team is to drive into and spend time in each of our States and take a photo of every "State Welcome Sign" for all of the State lines we cross. Now this has been challenging but we are having a blast getting this done since we do have a few rules to play by and that is we are not allowed to stop and take the photo, they must be photographed while still driving. At times waiting for miles with camera in hand just to have it automatically shut down and lo and behold whoosh another one bites the dust. All that tells us is that we will need to make another stop eventually in that State on our future journeys.

Another goal is to visit all of the NASCAR tracks on the Cup Series circuit during our travels and write stories and take photographs on all the adventures and the RV lifestyle as it unfolds.

            Other's Websites

Below you will find links to some of the exciting websites that we have encountered and feel are worth mentioning.

www.RVBookstore.com it is affiliated with www.rvtravel.com.  Both are wonderful resources for our new lifestyle and we believe they can help any RVer either rookies as we are or the veterans that still may need some answers. These websites were some of the very first ones that we found and have been very helpful to us and our hope is they will be useful to you too.

A great place to find work while on the road is at www.workamper.com
We invited  Jaimie Hall, Editor of Workamper Viewpoint to the Kaibab Lodge and she interviewed Jerry and myself.  She has a way about her that just makes you relax and feel at home and we are looking forward to seeing her article once it is published.

We also kept in contact with our neighbors from our last stationary home, Mark and Valerie Foley. Valerie has a new career in photography in the Tennessee area and they have many interesting things to share. Visit their website at www.VFdigitalphotography.com
and see the marvelous photos she creates.

One of our favorite websites for part of our spiritual journey is at www.churchoftoday.com
is a Unity church that I attended when I lived in Warren, Michigan.  Many years later we found they offered online services and we have been attending services regularly via the internet.  As we passed through Michigan in 2007, we stopped for a Sunday service and personally met many of the staff and members, it was a very enlightening experience.  They have so much to offer, feel free to give them a browse.

               Spiritual Corner

This area will be exclusively for our inner or spiritual side of our journey. It will include websites that we use to improve our way of life and from time to time we will share quotes, affirmations and meditations that have helped us along the way. Feel free to send us your favorite quotes or some of your own.

About Us...
We have been married for more than ten years and we are soul mates and for the first time in our lives we are following our hearts. We began our marriage with the best advantage, we were best friends first and then we fell in love. That friendship has strengthened our relationship and has definitely helped us through some really rough times in our lives thus far. We are both very outgoing, fun, caring and loving people who are open to new adventures and are really looking forward to many more years living this new lifestyle.

Both Jerry and myself have spent most of our forty plus years subconsciously sabotaging our lives. We both had dysfunctional childhoods as many of us had but we allowed it to flow into our adult lives. It took losing my youngest brother and then my mother to show me just how short life really can be. Neither of their deaths was sudden and they both had the chance to say their good-byes. As hard as that was it gave me a different insight on what I want to be able to say to my loved ones as I am leaving this world. I don't want to have any regrets. I want to be able to say that I did everything my heart told me to do and followed all of my dreams. This is how this dream of ours took on a life of its own. And everything we do from here on out will be focused on living our lives to the best of our abilities and when we learn more, we will do more.
